Data & Youth Privacy
Track Over Everything is built with the understanding that a large share of the people the platform ultimately serves — athletes — are minors. This page explains how youth data is actually handled on the platform today.
Athlete accounts and profiles are live
TOE operates real athlete profiles today, including profiles for minors. An athlete profile stores the athlete's name, date of birth, and the other details described in our Privacy Policy. A minor's street address, full date of birth, and guardian contact information are never shown to anyone outside their own household, regardless of any other visibility setting.
Configurable access levels, not a single hard-coded age rule
Athlete accounts are governed by a configurable minor-age threshold and an access level — parent-managed, limited athlete access, standard athlete access, or adult athlete control — rather than one fixed rule for every athlete. As an athlete approaches and passes the platform's adult age threshold, their access level automatically transitions toward full adult control.
Guardian relationships require an explicit invitation-and-acceptance workflow
A parent or guardian is linked to an athlete profile only through an explicit invitation that the guardian must accept — a parent and an athlete never share login credentials, each has their own account, and every change to a guardian relationship is recorded in an audit trail.
Guardian consent for imported results
When a minor athlete registers themselves and a guardian email is on file, before that athlete can confirm ("this is me") a result imported from a results provider, we email their guardian a consent-confirmation link. Self-confirmation of imported results by that minor is blocked until the guardian clicks that link and confirms consent. This is enforced by the platform, not merely self-reported.
What we do not do
We do not sell any athlete's information, and we do not show a minor's street address, full date of birth, or guardian contact details to anyone outside their household. See "Sensitive fields are never public" in our Privacy Policy.
Requesting access, correction, or deletion
A guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their athlete's information at any time by emailing support@trackovereverything.com.
